Rhododendron shrubs threaten the growth of native plants and wildlife across Scottish landscape. Mass eradication efforts are seen up and down the country in an effort to remove this plant which was introduced in late 18th century. Despite the plants beauty and determination to thrive, there are now several strains of critically endangered species. Here you can see seeds fused in glass dyed vibrant colours. This hints to represent what the plant would bloom into had it not been eradicated. An aim was to present a contrast between the stillness of this object and the context of its fast growth. A highlight towards struggle between nature and mankind and the point in which they meet.
